ONLINE TRAINING VERSUS IN PERSON TRAINING

What is the difference?

We often receive inquiries regarding the distinction between in-person and online training.

The primary difference lies in the method of delivery. Both formats convey identical content, fostering interaction between the Johns and the children.

What are the benefits?

One of the most significant advantages for schools is cost savings. If a school chooses a single-school online delivery option, it can save approximately 25% compared to an in-person event.

Additionally, we offer a Multi-School Online Event, which takes place on Thursdays. Participating in this format can result in savings of nearly 50% relative to the corresponding in-person event. All multi-school sessions are conducted via interactive webinars, which do not require participants to use cameras or microphones. Responses are anonymised when shared during the session, except for the quiz component.

Flexibility in planning is another benefit. Sessions can be conducted in classrooms, alleviating scheduling constraints associated with shared spaces, particularly those used for lunch. This arrangement also allows for greater participation, especially in larger schools.

Both staff and parent sessions are recorded, and schools will receive a link post-event, enabling access for 28 days. This feature maximizes value, ensuring that all staff and parents can benefit from the sessions, even if they are unable to attend on the training day.

Can you combine the sessions?

It is possible to mix delivery methods. The Johns can deliver in-person sessions to the children, while staff and parent presentations can be conducted online. These online sessions would take place on the Thursday of the training week. Alternatively, you may opt to have only the parent session online, with staff training delivered in person.
